Well, my colleague Heng wore white/cream for his banquet too...I had to refrain from telling him that he looked like a giant cream puff. But then, Carol was there so I was not about to shatter her perfect image of her dashing groom...hahahhaha
Hahahaha not at all O-yee-of-so-little-faith-in-women, they're not all the terrible dominatrix ogres you make them out to be... quite the opposite in fact. Waikit is saying "Uhh... I'm yours now... hold me I'm getting weak in the knees... I'm depending on you to protect me now, my big orcish overseer...."
Waikit's a Dragon not a tiger.
We're not wearing our wedding bands yet. She's wearing her engagement ring and I'm wearing my iron ring on my pinky.
Hi JM, most likely my husband will not be able to come for the dinner.. ;-( he has a urgent major project going on overseas, in fact he was outstationed since yesterday, and the project may drag on throughout this weekends. No worries, I will still be attending the dinner, probably with Jon, or with Sun (you have met her), but we may not be able to come by 6pm to view the ROM ceremony, but I will try. So So Sorry! :-P
Thanks JM, for your understanding. I had wanted my husband to come along, reminded him several times ever since I received your invitation, but this is a last minute unforeseen project. Anyway, Sun is confirmed attending on his behalf, she is happy and looking forward to see the bride and groom ;-)
I agree... which is why I put those 3 first. Somehow, it just seems more real and warm when you see your bride in a chinese wedding dress... the white bridal gown doesn't quite have the same effect, it's more surreal and feels made-up somehow.
That chang pao btw, is my own. The ones the studio would have made me wear were really awful and cheesy looking ones in shiny gold or bright red/black.
Ok I am not sure where to put this so, I think maybe you don't celebrate Xmas, but anyway Merry Xmas and happy New Year! Nice pictures you have there with your wife. I plan to have my wedding pictures re-done in HK in 2008, I will put them up in my blog then. I think in 2007 we would be going to Canada.
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY FOR HELPING MAKE OUR WEDDING SIMPLY... GREAT!
Special thanks to jlaporte, Ur, my sister and Janie for all their wonderful help and to the rest of my friends, MKY, Yun, TPK, Boon, Vic, Fei Low, Yok, Meng, Centaur and all those wonderful people who really make life so much more interesting. ;)
Da jie, not to worry. I'm working on another gathering soon. Ur and I have already discussed this. We're just waiting for my Bayshore place to come online.
Ohh...lovely! :D
ReplyDeleteI like this one...intimate and classy, both at once.
ReplyDeleteyup so do I but waikit almost didn't want to include that photo into the album...
ReplyDeleteShy?
ReplyDeleteprobably too much intimacy on display.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, lovely! not really much intimacy on display, my colleague who recently got married, her pictures have more **kiss-kiss**..**blush** ;P
ReplyDeleteI like this piece, very natural.
ReplyDeleteShould blow this into portrait size for your bedroom...
hm-mmm this is romantic!
ReplyDeleteShe looks like she's saying "You're mine now ... and if you dare to forget ..."
ReplyDeleteI don't know which photograph is best. You both look fantastic (but I still have a soft spot for Waikit, the Tiger lady)
ReplyDeleteJust noticed it looks like you're wearing your wedding band on your pinky?!
ReplyDeleteHehe, Wai Kit is a tiger too? ;)
ReplyDeleteA splendid outfit. Too bad it's usually considered too posh for most functions in Singapore.

Cool, dragon! ;)
ReplyDeleteDragon's breathe fire... make roast pig... luckily pigs are the original dragons on earth...
ReplyDeleteHahaha...I love roast pig! Wheeeee.....
ReplyDeleteJean, you've got a soft spot for anything in a skirt....
ReplyDeleteLovely Photos, of course I already knew Wai Kit was gorgeous, but LJM certainly cut a suave figure. I actually prefer the Chinese costumes... warmer.
ReplyDeletekeren yang pake baju adat......... posenya lucu

ReplyDeleteI wish you many good happenings in the future.
+ White is your color.
How long did the pictures take?
The WHOLE DAY. :p
ReplyDeleteWhite is my colour? Uhhh..... not sure about that. Wearing white means I need to be extra careful while eating. :p
