  3. Now, it would need some protection on the front part, to protect le joli bébé, what do you think ?

  5. hehe yeah but he's not quite ready for this just yet anyway. He still can't sit by himself yet. Will be at least another 2-3 months before he can use it. I intend to just finish up the frame then let niangzi do the embellishing. There's still lots to be done, the seat, stirrups, tail, mane, ears and a head which would move up and down when baby twists the handbars. We'll go shopping for the cloth, rope etc. tonight.

  7. heee... I'm imagining my son passing this on to his son now. haha

I just finished the head and stirrups. Just some final strength testing and to make sure the head turns smoothly before I trim off the string/rope and let niangzi start on the cushion for the seat, mane, tail and reins.

Also need to baby-proof it a little bit more with some serious sandpapering to dull off all the edges and make sure no pointy bits are sticking out.

(oops, sorry liu, I accidentally deleted one of the photos and your comments that went with it.)

  11. Yes, this is very important to test the toy and its safety before baby Leong drives it !

  13. Maybe you could instead pass on your craftsmanship ... rather than merely passing on the toy, your son can enjoy constructing one.

  14. He'll learn how to make catapults first before rocking horses. We have our priorities to consider.
