Is it a brand new home km ? I like the building architecture and its blue color at the top. The place looks very spacious, I like the numerous windows opening to the green and majestuous trees of Singapore. It will be for sure a very nice place for the family. Congrats Mr. Chameleong ;-)
That's a very nice location, lucky you. It's just a street away from the Singapore River, and once there, you can cycle or walk all the way to East Coast park, and then Pasir Ris.
Yes, our new place. We just shifted in and lastnight was our first night here. The contractor hasn't finished yet, with sliding doors and wardrobes still to put in.
Most welcome! I have more photos of the finishing works but haven't loaded them out of the camera yet. Will post them soon especially the latest "almost" finished pictures.
:) wardrobes and sliding doors are supposed to come in later today. The electrician was here yesterday and finally put up all my hanging lamps. The place is shaping up nicely. I was a little worried about the lamps being left too long on the floor and accidentally damaged or smashed by my son. Next major item would be curtains.
I tried but was veto'ed down by the mistress of the house. Had to just settle for just one raise artillery platform 2 flanking fire windows and a 180 degree observatory window.
Only if no one buys me any house-gfits! a) you guys already got me gifts the 1st time round at bayshore, b) I've got too much stuff already! (according to the wife)
Uh-Huh too... before it becomes as big as this one, you will no longer belong to this world anymore and maybe Baby Leong too. This tree grows very slowly. They can live for more than three thousand years, most of them for many hundreds of years. To buy an olive tree in pot for exemple the size is : http://www.mon-olivier-de-provence.com/ Look at very old ones here : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olea_europaea :)))
hmm my sis is moving house on the same day.. just received an sms from her.. she's a bit short handed so I will be there to help out a bit.. predict the move will take the entire afternoon..

ReplyDeleteI'm surprised you didn't D-I-Y. Would have been cool to include portcullis, murder hole, artillery decks and a drawbridge.

ReplyDeleteWe can do a bbq or potluck if you like. ;)
In france, we often offer a young olive tree for house-warmings. If it is growing, then the happiness will grow in the same time ;-)
ReplyDeletehaha but I won't know where to grow the olive tree.... no garden. :P
ReplyDeletePerhaps we could get you guys a house plant instead of the olive tree....
ReplyDeleteXmas tree!
ReplyDeleteBut but... there are olive trees in pot. :)
ReplyDeleteUh-huh... and then... when it grows up, where would I put such a tree in my tiny house hmmm?
