  14. haha oui, lots of gold all around. The streets are paved with gold. :))) ;) That pic was taken in the lobby of the Burj al Arab. http://multiply.com/mu/kmleong/image/2/photos/167/500x500/21/IMG-0297.JPG?et=WG8e7fNwxZ1Yj%2BDKFFNNQA&nmid=444833166

Yes, I skiied. 15 years since the last time I skiied. Fell on the first run, haha but got back my balance after that. Didn't have much time so I only did 4 runs in total. Was great fun! I love skiing. I think I'm going to put more effort into getting a wintery ski holiday next. The longest run on Ski dubai, their blue run, didn't take more than 30 secs to get down... way too short. I also didn't try their black run, I hadn't quite gotten back my confidence yet to do that, I did use to ski double black 15 years ago in Canada. Ski dubai was great, but nothing beats the mountains. :DD

Oui! 5 star service at Casa d'souza!

  17. Okay, I'm impressed. Where do I sign up for this holiday tour that comes with a personal guide, chef and valet?

  18. It's called the DDD or D'Souza Dubayy Derezz (complete with Tronmobile and music during the driving excursions). Not sure if Chan Brothers or Dynasty Travel carry this tour package, I booked it directly as a local tour when I got to Dubai. Note though, you have to eat anything the chef cooks as well as endure the ocassional "Bwahahaaahahaaaaaaaaa!" that pops up or the red "emergency alert" lights in the tronmobile and crazed ululating.

oh ya, and you have to bring the chef offerings of kaya and laksa paste.

  19. And Milo nuggets (yes, I am shameless)

  20. Don't worry. I am crazy, but not insane. This trip is not meant for people who are allergic to nuts, though.

But, you must admit, I did whip up a somewhat delectable dinner.

  21. Sounds like a certain dwarf I read about who carries enchanted morningstars ... I suppose expecting several rounds of monster bashings to be included in the tour would be too much to hope for ...

  22. Oh yes, your cooking is marvelous. Niangzi (and I might add, she's miserly with praise) said you really knew how to cook, the spices and flavours were nicely balanced. We're just a little sorry that it came after 2 burgers in late morning and a full buffet lunch at the al arab, leaving us too full to fully appreciate your masterful culinary creations (and the 1st course of soup practically filled up what void there was before the other 3 courses came) :D

  23. I have that crazy "eat up or else" look in my eyes, you might notice.

  24. Thanks for the compliments. You're most welcome to return for another round of Al Smorgasbord at Case de Souza.

    ...

    Bwahahahaaahahaaaaaa!

  26. I wish, like Facebook, they have a "like" button below every picture.

I like Jee Yin's eyes and smile. A cheeky boy is an intelligent one! Seems like he's going to take after his papa.

  29. Well... if you're like almost the same age as your kid I can kinda see that mentally too so makes sense... you've completely lost that cute youthful cute look though... not sure what happened there. :P
