Take a 1/2 slice of belacan, bake it until it is dry, then crush it into a fine powder. Meanwhile, take 4-5 spoonfuls of sugar and with a little water, caramelize it. Add a dash of soy sauce for taste and colour. Mix in the powdered belacan, add in crushed peanuts and viola! Serve with appropriate dipping fruit.
As the old song goes, "Hit the rojak, and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more"
