Gongxi, gongxi fa cai!
This is it guys. Our biggest event of the year. Kam one kam all! Deck yourself in red and celebrate! Children will filially wait out the hour, ensuring their parent's longevity. Houses will be cleaned, the halls decked in merriment and well wishes for everyone. From near from far, no effort is spared. Families will gather for reunions with loved ones, to renew, restore, revitalise kinship ties, reunion dinners filled with traditional foods with their specific meanings and greetings to usher in another great year!
Light the firecrackers to usher in the new year. Let the kongming lanterns soar. Spread the joy of New Year with hongbao to young and old. A time of bonding around the card/mahjong tables and a time of good wishes to everyone for the year of the Rat.
