  2. I'm in KL. Went for mamak with some of my friends lastnight. Played blackjack earlier today and won some pocket money. All in all, not a bad new year. Driving up to Ipoh tomorrow lunch after I check out a hobby store at MidValley.

  5. Saw Kongming Lanterns for sale this morning in Ipoh for RM15!!!!!!!!! Was soooooo tempted to buy one and light it from my balcony....

I'm a little disappointed I missed the dragon dance on Sunday night at the Ipoh Padang. Anyway, left FuRen in Ipoh and I'm now back in KL, arrived back only just awhile ago. Will drive back to SG tomorrow early morning. Can still occasionally hear fireworks and some scattered firecrackers somewhere outside my window. It's 11pm on a Tuesday night. Don't people here sleep?

  7. HAhaha of course it can go up in the air. It's a hot air balloon! You write your wish on it, then light a candle inside to make it float.

I didn't actually see any in the air this CNY but saw them for sale at a biscuit shop. kekeke I think they are illegal even in M'sia. They go very, very high and could become aircraft hazards. They burn up after awhile and fall back to the ground in flames but burn up completely before they hit the ground... usually

  8. wow that's so nice to see!
actually i miss the smokey air and the crackling noise of the lighted crackers during CNY.. even the number of lion dances performed this year is lesser, somehow.
