I would have just laid the book on the table and put a rubber on the page to stop it from flipping. But on second thoughts, it is easier to refer to the book slightly elevated from the table (considering the angle of the eyes) and also, the book being opened at an angle, does help for easier reading depending on the page material and print.

ReplyDeleteGood concept :) If you could do the same with some optical fiber, would be great for reading in the night. ;-)
ReplyDeletethats a great idea! Battery pack at the base, optical fibres bending up both sides to shine on both pages.
ReplyDeleteI suppose one could get those bendy thingies with lights in them and bend to shape (are they called optical fibres?)
