  2. I'm thinking of cycling from Tampines to Bedok...

Ur, it's a walkable distance from Bedok MRT to Bayshore, no?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Oh yeah, definitely walkable, 20mins at a brisk pace.

HOWEVER, if you have already cycled all the way to Bedok MRT it would be sort of silly to park your bike there and walk. Just bike all the way to Bayshore.

  4. LOL - I meant, I would either bike all the way from Tampines to Bayshore, or take a train to Bedok and walk from there. ;-)

  5. 20mins? No more than 10 the last time I tried it.

  6. Sure, maybe the next person (beside me) can time his journey and we can see whether it takes 10 mins or less.

  7. I drive along that stretch of road sometimes ... 10 mins? ... with LKM's legs & walking pace.

  8. hello KM,
I may not be able to join u for the moon festival celebration this 14th because it is a tradition my mum pray to the Moon Goddess this day, and at the same time, also cook for the entire family clan... it will be strange if I am the only one absent from the party. I've totally forgotten about the date clash, so thought I better let you know now.

Thousand apologies for last min changes. ;-P

  10. I'm still deciding what sort of mooncakes to bring. The array on sale is...impressive, to say the least.

  12. I'll see that day how it goes.. maybe I can just come at 4pm and leave at 6pm, I'll just play by ear. Anyhow, don't have to save anything for me, a drink perhaps, since I will be going to my mum's place for dinner. No promise, har? ;-)

  17. Will see what I can do to get my hands on a HK mooncake tin box.

  18. Hehe, I am not collecting them as Mooncake tin boxes, i am collecting them as tin boxes of a certain size and depth which is perfect for keeping my toy soldiers with magnetised bases. So tin box from Singapore will do just fine...

  19. So if you see any tin mooncake boxes in your office please grab it!
