  1. KM I can't read your message..it is a blank page..
But judging from the event title, I can guess la.. ;-)

I just realised that 3 Oct, 八月十五 is a Sat, and my mum told me she will also prepare dinner for the entire family on the moon festival.. am thinking if it is okay if we postpone our event.. ;-p I love my mum's cooking....

  2. keke zI also can't read the page. It is all white. But what I do is to hit Ctrl-A to highlight all the text on the page and it lets me see just enough to read.

Ok, how about Friday or Sunday then?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Actually friday sounds good, after work.. lets hear from the others...
    ;-D

    ReplyDelete
  4. Preference for Sat but happy to go with what the others prefer. ^_^

  6. Weekends are better for me. Are you ok if I invite my Spanish housemate over, Mon Cher?

    ReplyDelete
  7. If your Spanish Housemate is a hot babe you *must* invite.

    Otherwise can also lah.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yeah. She's guapa. IMO at least.

Would be good to introduce her to Chinese festivals!

    ReplyDelete
  9. fridays might be a little tough. How about if we make it the following Saturday? 10th Oct?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Sounds good to me. Will try to get Regina.

    ReplyDelete
  11. great Debbie! threaten her a bit..

    ReplyDelete
  12. So are we set for the 10th of Oct?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  16. There is a good chance I will come.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yeah. I will have accumulated enough leave by then, and I have a green light from my manager. Getting a visa has been arranged for, but I just need to iron out the issue of the flight and accomodation.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I am sure everything will work out fine..
    ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Me too. For the past couple of years, I have missed the legendary Mid-Autumn Festival parties thrown by kitmeng. I really want to attend this time.

Besides, it will give me an excuse to get a hanfu. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  20. lol. Can't help u with the airfare but if lodging is what you seek, you're welcome to use my spare room a few days if you don't mind putting up with baobei and I. I haven't asked her yet but I don't see why not.

Ur might have a spare room too if he isn't housing the usual Thai girls, Swedish girls or other such female denizens at the time you'd be here.

  21. Thanks, kmleong. I expect to be in Singapore for at least four, and at most five nights. I found a flight plan that would allow me to reach Changi on the night of the 6th and leave late night on either the 10th or the 11th.

Wherever I end up staying, I need to mention some address on the visa form. Hope I can use yours tentatively?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hey Sohan,

you are most welcome to stay at my place! Sorry I know you tried to call me but I was too busy these past two weeks to return your call.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks, Ur.

I have already made arrangements with KitMeng, but I would love to visit your pad sometime. Perhaps even do a sleepover one of the days, if you are not too busy.

I think all of you will be busy at the time. I am sorry I could not schedule my stay to encompass the whole weekend, but I have to be back in Dubai by Sunday morning. It's gonna be pretty tight; I may have to fly out in my hanfu (if I succeed in procuring one).

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hi Sohan, a sleepover sounds wonderful. See you soon!

    Ur

  25. if u want games, we could do friday night too or saturday during/after the mid-autumn party but that depends on the timing of your return flight. Send us your flight details when u have them.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Arrival: 21:15 (9:15 PM) on Tue Oct 6th
Departure: 01:40 (1:40 AM) on Sun Oct 11th

So I am gonna be in for four days and four nights. I'll be departing at 01:40 Sun, meaning I should be in the airport around 23:40 Sat. Therefore, I will have to leave Castle Leong by 23:30 Sat, to be safe. Which is about a half-hour after the official end of our little mid-autumn festival soiree.

  27. Hi Sohan,

as I have something on in the afternoon for the 10 Oct Sat, I wonder whether we could shift the party to Friday? This has the additional benefit of giving you almost an entire Saturday to be out and about when most of us are relatively free.

Really depends on the rest and whether Kit Meng is ok with it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'd rather not do Fridays. I need to work Saturday mornings. We're having it in the evening anyway so you can come after your "something on in the afternoon". I usually don't get back home on Saturdays until around 4pm myself.

  29. hey i didn't know i have such powers?!?!

will you guys be meeting somewhere like AMK like the last few times? err my cpu doesn't have a built-in gps so i always lose my way so i need some help. else i have to rely on Comfort Taxi or SMRT Taxi softwares....

    ReplyDelete
  30. haha of course. You are JOS.

If ur GPS can guide you to Bedok MRT, chauffeur service can be arranged to convey you to our humble abode.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Kind of does. I have yet to compose an itinerary, but it will not involve much more than visiting my old haunts and friends. So I am quite flexible to fit anything in until Sat 11:30 PM.

  43. Question, are we suppose to eat before we arrive or are we coming for dinner?

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'd suggest eating something before coming. I'll have some food, other will be bringing some as well, well have mooncakes but you know how these things go... it'll be hours before enough people/food/drinks assemble.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Happy mooncakes festival to you and friends.

Do they call it the mooncake festival (月餅節)in Malaysia?

It also know in Malay Language as it called Pesta Tanglung or lantern festival .

    ReplyDelete
