KM I can't read your message..it is a blank page..
ReplyDeleteBut judging from the event title, I can guess la.. ;-)
I just realised that 3 Oct, 八月十五 is a Sat, and my mum told me she will also prepare dinner for the entire family on the moon festival.. am thinking if it is okay if we postpone our event.. ;-p I love my mum's cooking....
keke zI also can't read the page. It is all white. But what I do is to hit Ctrl-A to highlight all the text on the page and it lets me see just enough to read.
ReplyDeleteOk, how about Friday or Sunday then?
Actually friday sounds good, after work.. lets hear from the others...
ReplyDelete;-D
Preference for Sat but happy to go with what the others prefer. ^_^
ReplyDeleteDon't mind friday after work or saturday...Sunday, not so much though....
ReplyDeleteWeekends are better for me. Are you ok if I invite my Spanish housemate over, Mon Cher?
ReplyDeleteIf your Spanish Housemate is a hot babe you *must* invite.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise can also lah.
lol!
ReplyDeleteYeah. She's guapa. IMO at least.
ReplyDeleteWould be good to introduce her to Chinese festivals!
fridays might be a little tough. How about if we make it the following Saturday? 10th Oct?
ReplyDeletethat sounds great!
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me. Will try to get Regina.
ReplyDeletegreat Debbie! threaten her a bit..
ReplyDeleteSo are we set for the 10th of Oct?
ReplyDeleteyup unless anyone has violent objections
ReplyDeletelol!!
ReplyDeletemy attendance is mandatory?!?!
ReplyDeletemua too...lol! whats up doc?
ReplyDeleteof course! No party is ever complete with Jos! Fishes stop swimming, Birds stop migrating, Pig stop oinking and worlds stop turning!
ReplyDeleteoops excuse me, I think I 表错情, of course Piglet actually meant THE Moon...
ReplyDelete;-p *blush*
There is a good chance I will come.
ReplyDeleteyay!!!
ReplyDeleteREALLY!!???!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah. I will have accumulated enough leave by then, and I have a green light from my manager. Getting a visa has been arranged for, but I just need to iron out the issue of the flight and accomodation.
ReplyDeleteHope that everything works out!
ReplyDeleteI am sure everything will work out fine..
ReplyDelete;-)
Me too. For the past couple of years, I have missed the legendary Mid-Autumn Festival parties thrown by kitmeng. I really want to attend this time.
ReplyDeleteBesides, it will give me an excuse to get a hanfu. ^_^
lol. Can't help u with the airfare but if lodging is what you seek, you're welcome to use my spare room a few days if you don't mind putting up with baobei and I. I haven't asked her yet but I don't see why not.
ReplyDeleteUr might have a spare room too if he isn't housing the usual Thai girls, Swedish girls or other such female denizens at the time you'd be here.
Thanks, kmleong. I expect to be in Singapore for at least four, and at most five nights. I found a flight plan that would allow me to reach Changi on the night of the 6th and leave late night on either the 10th or the 11th.
ReplyDeleteWherever I end up staying, I need to mention some address on the visa form. Hope I can use yours tentatively?
sure.
ReplyDeleteHey Sohan,
ReplyDeleteyou are most welcome to stay at my place! Sorry I know you tried to call me but I was too busy these past two weeks to return your call.
Thanks, Ur.
ReplyDeleteI have already made arrangements with KitMeng, but I would love to visit your pad sometime. Perhaps even do a sleepover one of the days, if you are not too busy.
I think all of you will be busy at the time. I am sorry I could not schedule my stay to encompass the whole weekend, but I have to be back in Dubai by Sunday morning. It's gonna be pretty tight; I may have to fly out in my hanfu (if I succeed in procuring one).
Hi Sohan, a sleepover sounds wonderful. See you soon!
ReplyDeleteUr
if u want games, we could do friday night too or saturday during/after the mid-autumn party but that depends on the timing of your return flight. Send us your flight details when u have them.
ReplyDeleteArrival: 21:15 (9:15 PM) on Tue Oct 6th
ReplyDeleteDeparture: 01:40 (1:40 AM) on Sun Oct 11th
So I am gonna be in for four days and four nights. I'll be departing at 01:40 Sun, meaning I should be in the airport around 23:40 Sat. Therefore, I will have to leave Castle Leong by 23:30 Sat, to be safe. Which is about a half-hour after the official end of our little mid-autumn festival soiree.
Hi Sohan,
ReplyDeleteas I have something on in the afternoon for the 10 Oct Sat, I wonder whether we could shift the party to Friday? This has the additional benefit of giving you almost an entire Saturday to be out and about when most of us are relatively free.
Really depends on the rest and whether Kit Meng is ok with it.
I'd rather not do Fridays. I need to work Saturday mornings. We're having it in the evening anyway so you can come after your "something on in the afternoon". I usually don't get back home on Saturdays until around 4pm myself.
ReplyDeletehey i didn't know i have such powers?!?!
ReplyDeletewill you guys be meeting somewhere like AMK like the last few times? err my cpu doesn't have a built-in gps so i always lose my way so i need some help. else i have to rely on Comfort Taxi or SMRT Taxi softwares....
haha of course. You are JOS.
ReplyDeleteIf ur GPS can guide you to Bedok MRT, chauffeur service can be arranged to convey you to our humble abode.
Kind of does. I have yet to compose an itinerary, but it will not involve much more than visiting my old haunts and friends. So I am quite flexible to fit anything in until Sat 11:30 PM.

I do not see Jules' name on the list. O_o
ReplyDeleteQuestion, are we suppose to eat before we arrive or are we coming for dinner?
ReplyDeleteUr + 1-3 friends attending (as of now)
I'd suggest eating something before coming. I'll have some food, other will be bringing some as well, well have mooncakes but you know how these things go... it'll be hours before enough people/food/drinks assemble.
ReplyDeleteHappy mooncakes festival to you and friends.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mid-autumn to you too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mid-Autumn Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mid-Autumn to all!
ReplyDelete祝大家中秋節快了!
ReplyDeleteDo they call it the mooncake festival (月餅節)in Malaysia?
Yes,they called mooncakes festival in Malaysia too with happy mid autumn festival .
ReplyDeleteIt also know in Malay Language as it called Pesta Tanglung or lantern festival .
Jules + (maybe 1)
ReplyDeleteyay
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we just make it a potluck? I will bring food equivalent to the number of guests coming with me. Not sure yet what time I am arriving probably around 7.30pm, will advise.
ReplyDeletePresumably you guys have enough lanterns and stuff. Not Lantern festival without lanterns.
ReplyDeleteLemme chk to see what the girls are bringing.
ReplyDeleteLanterns I still have from previous years and I have 1 box of mooncakes so far.
I will be out in the afternoon, so I think I will bring a box of cakes or donuts from the central...
ReplyDeleteSame here...will be going kayaking and have to head back home to make myself presentable enough for company.
ReplyDeletelol I'd love to see how u look when u are kayaking...
ReplyDelete;-p golden tanned!
Will see what I can bring that's good to eat!
ReplyDeleteSome veggie option will be good since one of my friend is a vegetarian.
ReplyDeleteSohan's in the house! Everybody screammmmmmm......
ReplyDeleteAnd he's got hold of Kitmeng's sword! Oh, the humanity!
ReplyDeleteSee you tomorrow for dinner! Will sms you.
ReplyDeleteOh has sohan arrived? Welcome on board!
ReplyDeletekam one kam all. Party's gettin' bigger and bigger!
ReplyDeleteIs the location the one besides the pool?
ReplyDeleteLet's meet at the house first. We can all go down to the pavilion later.
ReplyDeleteI will be arriving late.
ReplyDeleteErm...I may not be able to make as I am not too sure when my kayaking activity will end.... :-(
ReplyDeletebring a towel and change of clothes lah. Can shower at my place. We'll bear with the smell for the brief period you run from the main door into the bathroom.
ReplyDeletePai say leh...will see if can shower off before turning up at your place. Do not want to scare the guest and hosts too much...
ReplyDeletei pai seh also, most likely will be there by 5pm, but must leave by 7pm..
ReplyDeletedeb, if u can, we can meet at the nearest mrt by 5pm? take piglet's offer la, shower at his place..my sense of smell not so sensitive nowadays.. must be aging...
I doubt I can make it by 5 though...by the time I get there it might be 7 or later.. :-(
ReplyDeleteperfect! just in time to makan.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies, I will not be able to contribute to the pot-lug...Perhaps I can entertain with stories of my clumsy attempt to kayak?
ReplyDeletesounds lovely. ;)
ReplyDeleteanyway to take pics when u kayak?
ReplyDeleteHmm....I can try.
ReplyDeletejust kidding.. u got to be careful when u kayak... take care but have fun friend! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI will and I expect to be sore all over esp the arms. I am planning to get certification after going for this orientation session and then go kayaking at the Li river and maybe do a little white-water....
ReplyDeletewow that is very challenging!
ReplyDeleteEh Moon, you need to leave by 7pm?? why?? I only arriving after 7...
ReplyDeletelol I am so sorry Ur.. my mother and heidi wants to come to my house for dinner..ok..I think I can stay till 7.30pm.. I want to see debbie too. ;-)
ReplyDeletebtw, where is the nearest mrt again? just in case ET is not free to send me...
The nearest would be Bedok...
ReplyDeleteBedok MRT, take the Bayshore Shuttle on the southside taxi stand. Just pay $1 and it'll take you straight into my place.
ReplyDeleteHaha, ok lah, but you know we postponed the event just for you right? ^_^
ReplyDeleteNever mind we meet up soon. :-)
There's a shuttle bus?? Till what time does it run?
ReplyDeleteThere's a shuttle bus from my place to Bedok MRT that runs every 15 -30mins from the early morning to about 11pm. $1 per trip, payable in cash or transit link.
ReplyDeleteCool, I will probably take that.
ReplyDeleteHey I know! thats why die die I must come.. but I want to meet you guys too, really! see how la... you just dont come too late - you're always rubber time!
ReplyDelete;-)
Great thanks! Can I just tell the driver the block no and he will tell me where to alight?
ReplyDeletelooking forward to shepherd's pie! ;-p
ReplyDeleteJust get off at the very last stop, next to the clubhouse/office. My block is next to that.
ReplyDeleteRight that is easy! Was thinking of taking a cab from the nearest mrt..now I remember, the last time we took a shuttle service out from your house too..
ReplyDeleteOk, in the event if we get lost, we'll call and shout for help.
ReplyDeletewahahahaha!!! i will bring my whistle..
