  1. Sexy stuff, who made?/going to make? Is that why you need chess peices?

  2. hehe. I made. I've a small test program for 2-4 players to test its playability if you want to try it out. nothing fancy. no AI but it's a functional board.

  3. Its a boardgame that has elements of both western chess and chinese chess, eliminating the parts of each that I didn't like and incorporating the parts I like. It also allows for promotion/demotion of units as well as capture of another player's pieces. I made this somewhat with the 3kindgoms in mind (3 cornered fight) but up to 4 players can play.

  5. Urofpersia has been suggesting we make one and really fieldtest it. I'm been putting it off. Too many "projects" especially my "wifey" one. :p

Personally, if I were to choose one to field test first, I'm more keen to try "Carriers - battle of Midway". I think that game would be awsome to play (but a bit complicated)

  6. Teeheehee...I can help with this "Dominion" one, although my knowledge of both Western and Chinese chess is not all that fantastic. :P

  7. Hmm...could you make female characters/equivalents too, so we won't feel left out? lol

  8. Well technically, all the characters can be female (with the exception of the Prince). It's just a rank. Even Emperor can be female (see wu zetian). :p

You want to help make the board and stuff?

  10. I've thought of carving the pieces myself. I've even sketched out some ideas but it's just sounds like too much work and we boars are not known for our love of that foul 4 letter word. I think perhaps we can print the board, use Ur's toy soldiers as pieces and then make the supporting pieces. (See file 2nd file I sent to you)

Will need to brainstorm this a little.
