Ordered it from the US. The shop sent it to my cousin the Atlanta and she mailed it to me. Then when I got it, I found out that it's made in Shanghai. :p Really ridiculous that after searching all over the only place I can get a Chinese changpao is from the US of A. (other than the tacky silky crap they sell in Chinatown)
Actually, quite a few stalls at Chinatown sell them, only problem I find with what they sell... shiny, tacky-looking-obviously-for-angmo-tourist-fake-satin/silk changpaos. I wanted a authentic cotton one that would have been worn by a middle-class scholar ca. 1930s Shanghai. ;)
Ah... I've got a fan now to complete my scholar ensemble... probably lil'mok's attempt to tame AB and make him more scholarly... Thanks for the present Grand Lady Marshal!
Umm... no, after the basics, Singapore 18step-keep-fit-taiji and the 108step, I've only picked Jian to learn and skipped all the classes on the Shan. :p I'm a terrible student I know. Hopeless Imperial Scholar Liang.
Ohhh...where did you get that cheung-po?
