Moon, I eat everything but the pan... so yes, meat is fine, beef and pork are great, and pizza is good too... Snowy, I'm ok with french food too... my my my... I'm afraid I'll need to lose weight after I leave Singapore....
No worries francois.. everyone deserves a treat sometime... thats what I heard from a doctor himself. So just eat while your stay in SG... we are known to be a eating paradise... with all the (food) energies from our multi-race.. this is the best place to sample food from all parts of the world.. Beijing, Shanghai, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, of course French and Italian too... u name it, we have it.
some of the local delights must try are: satay, popiah, rojak, hainanese chicken rice, roasted chicken, roasted duck and roasted pork, laksa, Penang laksa, char kuey tiao with crockles, otak .. u can easily find these food in the heartlands.. any neighbourhood kopi tiams (hokkien language of coffee shops)...

ReplyDeletePerhaps you'd better walk instead of taking the transport ... Singapore is small enough for most parts ...
ReplyDeleteTogether with the weather, it should even out against your input.
Don't forget to take a balanced meal - Asian food usually have yin-yang counterparts, moderation in everything.
